What it is
Measure Combine Loss Without The Guesswork
The ScherGain Drop Pan mounts magnetically to any combine. No drilling or modifications. You drive normally, hit the remote from the cab, and the pan collects exactly what's going out the back. Clean the sample, pour into the grain gauge, and read your loss per acre off the chart. That's your number. Change a setting. Drop again. Compare. In one afternoon you can dial in a combine that's been costing you bushels for years.
- Accurate & repeatableSame method every time. Change one setting, re-test, and the difference is real. Not a guess.
- Safe remote dropDropped from the cab at full harvest speed. Nobody walks behind a running combine.
- Any combine, any colourOne system. Move it across your whole fleet in minutes.
- Fast to set upAbout 15 minutes to mount and be testing. If you can run a combine, you can run this.

Common Questions
Will it work on my combine?
Yes. The system mounts magnetically on any major brand: John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Claas, AGCO, and more. The front or rear axle works well on most machines. Note: if the metal is too thin, the magnets may not hold; thicker metal gives a stronger hold.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes to mount and get your first test run. Straight from the box. No drilling, no modifications to the machine.
Can I move it between combines?
Yes! That's exactly why it was designed the way it is. The original ScherGain was hard-mounted; the current transferable system was built specifically so it can move across a whole fleet in minutes.
How accurate is it?
Because the pan drops the same way at the same location every time, measurements are repeatable. Change one setting, drop again, and the difference you see is real. Not noise from an inconsistent method. That repeatability is what makes it a useful tool instead of just another estimate.
What about wind and combine leaks?
Mount the pan in a location where material won't fall into it prematurely, and be mindful that wind and leaks can cause false readings. Most operators find a consistent mounting spot quickly on their specific machine.
What's the battery situation?
The power pack should never be run completely dead. Recharge as soon as it drops to the last light. Treat it like a phone battery and it'll be ready all season.
