An agriculture innovation from a Winkler, Man. based company has earned global attention, with the Razors Edge Concaves TIME award placing it among the Best Inventions of 2025.

Thunderstruck Ag was recognized for its Razors Edge Concaves.

Thunderstruck Founder and CEO Jeremy Matuszewski said the concaves were designed to minimize harvest loss, maximize machine efficiency, and simplify operations across multiple crops.

The system’s patented variable bar spacing tightens where impact is greatest and opens where flow matters most delivering a cleaner thresh, reduced equipment overload, and higher yields, all without cover plates or hardware swaps.

“Farmers don’t need more complexity, they need solutions that work under pressure,” Matuszewski said. “Being named to TIME’s Best Inventions list is an incredible honour, and it validates what farmers across North America have been experiencing in the field: Razors Edge Concaves change the game.”

TIME’s recognition, and the Razors Edge Concaves TIME award, comes at a moment when rising input costs and equipment wear continue to challenge farm operations. Matuszewski said the concaves deliver better performance, less downtime, and valuable versatility across crops and conditions, helping producers stay efficient when it matters most.

The Time‘s list spotlights 300 groundbreaking innovations from around the world that are shaping the future of technology, sustainability, and everyday life. Each year, TIME editors evaluate thousands of submissions and select products, breakthroughs, and ideas that demonstrate exceptional impact, creativity, and problem-solving.

The 2025 list features advances in agriculture, medicine, clean energy, robotics, and consumer tech, showcasing solutions built to address real-world challenges.
