This year we attended the Canadian Western Agribition Livestock show in Regina, Saskatchewan for the first time.
The show certainly lived up to its billing as one of the biggest and best livestock shows in North America and we were extremely happy that we added it to our show circuit.
Our booth was moved by the show management from one of the Arenas to Banner Hall which meant that our booth was in the main traffic area, as Banner Hall ties the livestock part of the show to the food and trade show component.
We expected Monday and Tuesday to be slow, based on what we had been told, and we couldn’t have been more wrong. Although the show hours were from 10-6, because of our location, we had producers in our booth from 9 am until 7 pm each day, including Monday and Tuesday.
We realized on Tuesday that we had underestimated the show and the quality of the producers visiting our booth, and we had to order more print material from our office.
Not only was the show great, but our staff got to visit with ranchers from across Canada and the United States and learn the challenges that they face.
We were extremely happy with Agribition, and plan on exhibiting with them for years to come.
