The Copperhead Nutrimate 3 was developed to precisely place fertilizer in correct proximity to seed, reduct germination problems, and encourage rapid plant growth. It works well in all farming operations including conventional, no-till, strip-till, and minimum-till. The NutriMate 3 places fertilizer in the root zone and not the soil surface. It is mounted to the row unit, the parallel links let it float and the unit gauge wheels provide depth control so nutrients are precisely placed in relation to the seed. It can be easily adjusted for both depth of fertilizer placement and distance from seed. Its unique design allows discs to be pulled through the field which improves planter tracking, reduced bearing and disc fatigue, and eliminates stress on parallel linkage.
